On June 3-6, 2019 Sacopee Valley High School students labored at community service from 8 am to 12 noon outdoors and indoors, in cold rain and warm sun.
In Hiram, five teams worked cleaning cemeteries (Stanley in South Hiram, Old Settlers and Wentworth in East Hiram), tackling brush and logs with loppers and saw in Merrill Park and Mt. Cutler Trails, and various projects in Great Ossipee Museum of Hiram Historical Society. Students graduated Saturday, June 8 at 7 p.m. and moved on to the next phase of their lives. Most will be leaving Hiram, at least for awhile, with the hope they treasure and remember fondly their time in Hiram. The high school wishes all students success at whatever they choose to do and hope they will return, at least to visit our beautiful Sacopee Valley.
