Registration for Mrs. B's Preschool Story Time is open for the next 6-week program the begins on Friday, December 4, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. - 10:40 a.m.
The cost of the program is $50 for the entire 6-week program (less than $10 per session), per child. This helps to pay for the cost of materials, shipping, and time spent preparing for the programs. You will need to have on hand basic materials such as:
children's scissors
crayons
glue stick
single hole paper punch (optional)
All other materials will be included in the program packet that will be mailed to you.

About Mrs. B's Story Time:
There are many virtual story times, but Sharon feels that story times are much more fun and enriching if there are both movement activities and a hands-on component, so she has developed this new program to incorporate hands-on activities for each session, as well as at-home activities for children to do after each session. These sessions will be run via Zoom. If you wish to participate, she will send you a Zoom link and you simply click on that to enter the "waiting room" and wait to be admitted. That prevents uninvited people from entering into the story times, making it safer for children. Parents must be present, as your child may need a little help with the projects, but also so that you can see what your child is learning. Each story time is approximately 40 min.
About Mrs. B:
Sharon Beever, M.S.L.S., is a retired school librarian from Maine. She has over 25 years of experience working with children from grades Preschool to High School in several school districts in Maine. Sharon also has experience working in the libraries at the University of Southern Maine and Perdue University, but her passion is sharing the joy of reading to young children.
