The Town of Parsonsfield is soliciting bids for winter road maintenance. Contracts are available for the North and South sections.
The Selectboard, in accordance with Article 23 of the Annual Town Meeting held September 10, 2022, is soliciting quotations for two sections of winter road maintenance (each section is approximately 40 miles). This (these) contracts are for a three to five year period (2023-2026/2028), and may be bid on collectively or individually.
Bids must be completed and filed with the Selectmen's Office at 634 North Road by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, in a sealed envelope marked: Winter Road Maintenance Bid
Bids received after 4:00 p.m. on May 9, 2023 will not be considered.
Bids will be opened and read aloud at a meeting of the Selectmen held at the Selectmen's Office on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, and after equipment inspection, the contract will be awarded on May 23, 2023.
The Selectmen reserve the right to waive all formalities and to reject any and all bids. By April 11, 2023, information and specifications may be obtained from the Town's website or at the Parsonsfield Selectmen's Office during office hours (Monday thru Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.).
