Hiram Town Office will be closed February 12th -18th

Due to unforeseen circumstances the office will be closed from February 12-18. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. 


Absentee ballots are available for the March Town Election, please try to request your ballot prior to February 7th so we can process your request. If you are unable to request the ballot prior to the closure, the absentee ballot application can be located on our website, you may choose to mail in your application during the office closure or wait to request one once the office reopens.  You may not request local absentee ballots electronically. 


Cory Hale is running unopposed for Selectboard, Assessor and Overseer for a 3-year term and the position for a MSAD 55 School Board Member for a 3-year term will be filled by a write in.   A link to the sample ballot and absentee application is located on our home page. 


For car registrations if you are simply processing a renewal you can renew online at Rapid Renewal. If you have a new vehicle that must be registered while we are closed, you can go to the nearby town offices and they can assist you, Baldwin, Cornish, Porter and Parsonsfield. Please check with the appropriate office for their requirements to handle your transaction and current hours. If at all possible, please wait until our office reopens. In case of an emergency please  contact one of the Municipal Officers
