The much deteriorated educational sign describing the 1947 fire and its effect on Hiram has been replaced by a new sign donated by the Maine Fire Protection Office. Thanks to volunteers Dave Paro and Darryl Ward the new sign has been mounted and can now be seen from Main Street and Schoolhouse Road, and read on Historical Ridge. One more accomplishment by our volunteers. Thank you!
