Several positions in Cornish will be up for 2019 nomination, including:
Selectman, Assessor, Overseer-of-the-Poor - 3 year term
Water District Trustee - 3 year term
MSAD #55 School Board Director - 3 year term
If you have experience or skills and feel that you are qualified, consider running for local office.
Here is a breakdown of the schedule:
Nomination papers are available at the Town Office starting Friday, December 7, 2019. Signed, completed nomination papers are due back Wednesday, January 16, 2019, by 3:00 PM.
Budget Requests, Warrant Articles, and Reports for the Annual Town Report must be submitted to the Town Clerk's Office by Monday, December 31, 2019, at 3:00 PM.
Those who wish to serve on the Budget Committee, please contact the Town Office by December 31, 2018.
The annual Town Meeting will be held on Monday, March 18, 2019, at 7:00 PM.
