You're invited to the 3rd Maine Co. A Vol Infantry Civil War encampment on Saturday, August 17 - Sunday, August 18, 2019 at the Fryeburg Historical Society, 83 Portland Street, Freyburg, ME.
Come join the camp! Soldiers and ladies will enjoy sharing CivilWar stories and history.
This is a great family event! There will be interactive fun and entertainment for all ages and genders. You will enjoy the soldiers' drills and authentic reenactment of their daily lives.

09:45 a.m. Company formation & colors
10:00 a.m. Camp life opens to the public
10:30 a.m. Letter writing, demonstrations
11:00 a.m. Infantry drill & firing demonstrations
1:00 p.m. Sanitary devision inspects the camp
2:00 p.m. Mail call
2:30 p.m. Ladies 1860's dress program
3:30 p.m. Infantry drill
4:30 p.m. Retreat, case colors
5:00 p.m. Camp closed to the public
