The Town of Porter will hold its annual election on Friday, June 12, 2020. The polls will be open from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Town Hall.
Officers to be elected:
Selectmen, Assessor, Overseer of the Poor - 3-year term
MSAD 55 School Board Director - 3-year term
Planning Board, 2 positions available - 3-year term
Planning Board, 2 positions available - 1-year unexpired term
Planning Board, 1 position available - 2-year unexpired term
Absentee ballots for Town Election Voting are available at the Town Office. By State law, absentee voting is not allowed at Town Meetings (you must be present to participate).
Precautions to manage the COVID-19 situation will be taken such as disinfecting surfaces, making hand sanitizers available, and social distancing. Please bring a face covering when coming in to vote, and please stay home if you are sick.
