"We are hoping that providing free parking lots and shuttles at both ends of the village will help with the flow of traffic and also make sure there is room for emergency vehicles." Heather Newman, Apple Festival Chair
All of the folks who run the event are volunteers, and most are members of Cornish Area Businesses. Anyone interested in volunteering should contact cornishareabusinesses@gmail.com.
There have been rumors of the festival moving, which may happen in the future to ensure safety, but at this time the plan is to stay in the park and re-evaluate after 2019.
This year marks the 30th year of the Apple Festival, a bit of history: the Apple Festival was originally started by the Sacopee Valley Health Center. Who knew?!
