On Friday, March 6, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., Paisley Pines Quilt Shop will be hosting a class, Basic Sewing and Quilting - Project 2, for confident beginners or students who have previously attended their Basic Sewing and Quilting 1 class.
Based on what was learned in session 1, students will be working on making the "Simple Sack." As we all know, plastic shopping bags are soon to be a thing of the past. This "sack," or grocery bag, is strong and versatile. The whole sack folds into itself, so it's less cumbersome and slips easily into a purse or can be stored out of the way in your vehicle. After you make one, you'll definitely want to make more.
Students must bring their own sewing machine, which must be in good working order.
There is a materials fee of $24, which is payable to the instructor at class. The course fee is $44.
Please preregister as a minimum of 4 people are needed to run this course.
