On Thursday, February 6, 2020, at 7:30 p.m., the Town of Hiram will hold an informational meeting and meet the candidates night at the Hiram Town Office.
The informational meeting will be to discuss town owned properties and whether or not the townspeople wish to sell or retain any of them.
The Conservation Committee and the Municipal Officers have visited each parcel and have made recommendations, which will be presented at the informational meeting.
Following the informational meeting there will be a meet the candidates night.
There are three people running for the municipal officers position:
Cory Hale
Karen James
Joyce Siracuse (incumbent)
The candidates will be present to answer questions and/or concerns and explain their interest in town operations.
The municipal officers position will be voted on at the town election, which will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020, with the poll open from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
The town owned properties vote will be held at the town meeting on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 9:00 a.m. in the Sacopee Valley Middle School cafeteria.
The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
