On Monday, February 24, 2020, at 6:30 p.m., the Town of Porter Select Board will hold a public hearing to discuss the closing of roads for winter maintenance. This is required every ten years by state law.
The following is a list of roadways being presented to the Select Board for closing. Closing all or a portion of the following:
Town Pound Road from Old Meetinghouse Road to the end
Gillman Road from French Road to #153
Sarah Bridge Road from #20 to Route 160
Norton Hill Road from Moody Road to #395
Short Street from Route 25 to the end
Ridlon Lane from Bridge Street to the end
Garner Court from Bridge Street to River Street
Chapel Street from Colcord Pond Road to Cypher Lane
