Join Green Mountain Conservation Group for their Holiday Felting and Crafting Workshop Fundraiser on Saturday, November 23, 2019, from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Blue Heron House at the Patricia and Charles H. Watts II Conservation Center, 236 Huntress Bridge Rd. Effingham, NH.
Help support Green Mountain Conservation Group’s watershed work AND create some holiday gifts with friends and family in this fun, holiday-themed crafting workshop and fundraiser.
Learn how to interpret a form from nature into felt and other fun crafts like nature prints, watercolor bookmarks, and nature journals. Small children may work with soap felting and adults and older children may work with needles to create holiday ornaments or other crafts to make your own holiday gifts and decorations. Artists Jo Williams and Blair Folts will help guide needle felting and nature printmaking.
No experience necessary. The cost is $25 for families, $15 for adults, and $5 for children. All funds raised go to support GMCG’s watershed research, education, advocacy, and land conservation. Please preregister by contacting info@gmcg.org or (603) 539-1859, and visit www.gmcg.org for more information.
